The Middle Tennessee men's basketball program will travel to South Carolina to take part in the sixth annual Myrtle Beach Invitational this fall as part of the squad's 2024-25 non-conference slate.

"We are excited to once again be competing in the Myrtle Beach Invitational," said head coach Nick McDevitt. "This allows us to continue to showcase our program and our university on a national stage as we participate in one of ESPN's tournaments. We are happy to be a part of this competitive field."

The Blue Raiders will be joined by Bradley, Princeton, South Florida, Texas State, Ohio, Portland and Wright State in the three-day tournament played November 21, 22 and 24 at the HTC Center in Conway, S.C. All games will be presented across the ESPN platforms.

2024 marks the second appearance at the Myrtle Beach Invitational for the Blue Raiders in the Nick McDevitt era, with the squad previously taking part in the 2019 edition of the tournament. During the 2023-24 season, Middle Tennessee traveled to the Bahamas to take part in the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship in-season tournament. The Blue Raiders have taken part in a regular season each season during McDevitt's tenure

Past Myrtle Beach Invitational champions include UCF (2018), Baylor (2019), Utah State (2021), UMass (2022) and Liberty (2023). The 2024 field includes three schools that participated in the 2024 National Invitational Tournament – Bradley, Princeton and South Florida.

Tickets will be available for purchase by fans later this summer following the announcement of the complete tournament schedule. Blue Raiders fans can sign up for first access to tickets at www.myrtlebeachinvite.com.
