Robert Chambers, 81, of Bell Buckle, passed from this life on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Good Samaritan Health & Rehab Center in Antioch. He was born on June 2, 1943, in Bell Buckle, to the late Robert, Sr. and Ruby Chambers.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Bell Buckle. He retired from The Webb School in Bell Buckle as a custodian after many years. He was a man of few words, but had a kind heart and willing to help his family and others. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music and taking long drives.
He is survived by cousins, Lucille Gill and Roy Frank Buckingham; devoted cousin, Michael (Jackie) Cooper; step-sister, Evelyn Chambers of Albany, IN and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Houston-Whitworth Cemetery in Bell Buckle beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Eddie Buckingham, eulogist.
